Jennifer Lopez became known for her role in the T.V series, In Living Color, as a dancer. She starred in her first movie in 1995, and has continued to only grow as a movie star. The Jennifer Lopez movies list consists of twenty one movies that have been completed, and three movies that are currently in production.

The first movie that belongs on the Jennifer Lopez movies list is, Money Train. This was Lopez's first major movie role. She played Grace Santiago in this police drama starring, Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson.

Her second movie was Jack. Jack was a film about a boy who, due to an aging condition, looked forty by the time he was in the fifth grade. Jack starred Robin Williams, and Lopez played, Miss Marquez.

The third movie was Blood and Wine. This was a story about a diamond theft gone wrong. Jack Nicholson starred in Blood and Wine. Lopez played Gabby.

No Jennifer Lopez movies list would be complete without her fourth movie, Selena. Selena was Lopez's time to shine as the lead character. She became a household name after playing the young singer who was murdered by her close friend and co-worker.

Lopez recieved many rave reviews, and many people were amazed at how well Lopez protrayed the fallen singer.

Lopez's ninth movie was one of her darkest movies ever. She played Catherine Deane, a social worker who enters the mind of a serial killer.

The Wedding Plan showed a softer side of Lopez. Jennifer played, Mary Fiore, a wedding planner who ends up falling for one of her clients.

Angel Eyes had Lopez playing another police role. Jennifer played Sharon Pogue, a police officer who becomes involved with a mysterious man.

Lopez's character, Slim Hiller, in Enough showed woman everywhere that they could become strong enough to leave a domestically violent relationship. Her character was involved in an abusive relationship. She fled and became strong enough to fight off the man who abused her for many years.

Lopez went back to her softer side in Maid in Manhattan. She played, Marisa Ventura, an hotel maid who falls in love with senatorial candidate.

The next two movies on the Jennifer Lopez movie list put her starring with her fiancee at the time, Ben Affleck. Neither movie was a huge hit in ratings, but they showed the chemistry between these two big names.

In Shall We Dance, Lopez played Paulina, a sexy dance instructor to Richard Gere.

2005's Monster-in-Law put Lopez once again playing a character who falls in love and has to overcome some hilarious battles to keep it. Lopez played Charlotte Cantilini, a woman who is madly in love, but has to win over her soon to be mother in law.

Lopez played in a few more films that did not go over big with the ratings. These films were: An Unfinished Life, Bordertown, and El Cantante. The last one put her starring with her current husband, Marc Anthony.

The latest finished movie on the Jennifer Lopez movie list is, The Backup Plan. Lopez played Zoe, a woman who is willing to get pregnant by in vitro fertilization after she feels like she will not find the right man. She ends up finding her dream man, and gives birth to twins. The Backup Plan came after the birth of Lopez's own twins.

Jennifer Lopez has played a variety of different roles in her movie career. She has shown that she can play any role that is given to her.
